How To Use Your Digital Printing Images In Home Decoration
These days there is an increased interest in interior decorating and design. This is due in large part to reality DIY shows that demonstrate that you really can make your home into a beautiful and stylish place by following a few tips. One of these is to accessorize and add a personal touch to your rooms. Using your personal digital printing images is a great way to do this.
Of course people have been decorating with their photos for decades. Pictures of the children or the family on vacation grace the walls of many, many homes. These are usually simple, framed photos that are really not very beautiful or exciting and mostly just interesting because of the subject of the photo. To really give your home a great look there are much more interesting things you can do with your photos.
Enlarge and use canvas!
Choose a favorite, high resolution photo that you love and take some time to edit it and make it even better. Adjust the contrast, cover blemishes and add any artistic touches you want using your favorite photo editing software.
Once you have the photo looking how you want it to you are ready to have it enlarged. You might choose something as large as a poster size or something a little smaller. You can hang this large digital printing image as is, covering it only in glass for a classic look, or choose a modern frame.
Having your picture printed on canvas is another excellent idea. Your picture will look like a masterpiece when printed on material and stretched over a frame. This gives your shot a minimalist look and is a softer and more stylish addition to a room.
Arrange many small photos artistically!
Another thing you can do with your digital printing image is to print a number of small shots that are similar in subject and style. Take a group of pictures from the same photo shoot and have them printed. You can then frame them if you want or otherwise arrange them on the wall in an interesting pattern.
Look at design magazines or go online and look at photos of various wall arrangements to get inspiration. Try copying some of the designs that appeal to you using your own prints. You can use these ideas in every room of the house. Even the bathroom will look great with the right kind of digital printing images hanging on the wall.
Make a statement in your home. You don’t have to go out and pay for someone else’s art work or a reproduction of a famous picture. Create original works of art on your own and have them printed to decorate your home with a personal touch!
